2. Funeral Regulations, Accreditation & Insurance

As a licensed funeral operator, Le Pax Funèbre strictly complies with the provisions of the Code of Local Democracy and Decentralization (Book II - Funerals and Burials) in Wallonia and applicable municipal regulations:

• Professional Civil Liability Insurance: Funeral professional liability policy subscribed with Ethias Assurances (covering all activities of body transport, funeral organization, coffining, and ceremony).
• Funeral Vehicle Accreditation: Hearses and ceremonial vehicles regularly inspected and certified by the Public Service of Wallonia (SPW).
• Consumer Mediation: In accordance with the Belgian Code of Economic Law, in case of dispute not resolved amicably, the client may contact the Consumer Mediation Service (Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 Bte 1, 1000 Brussels - mediationconsommateur.be).
